Ian Lawman is a man with an extraordinary talent; he states that he can see, hear and talk to the dead. It’s something that might frighten even the most courageous of people, yet it is, for Lawman, a gift and something he has used to help others over many years. An ordained exorcist, the medium has been using his abilities to rid homes, pubs and hotels from negative energies as well as freeing people from the grip of demonic infestation. It’s something he has given his own life to, and he has changed the lives of those who have sought his help along the way.

Lawman began his life in a humble, working class family. As a teen, he branched out into a career of dancing and modelling, to much success. In the late 90’s, Lawman began to accept and hone the natural gift he had been born with – his psychic ability. It wasn’t long before Lawman’s natural aptitude at connecting with the dead and picking up the energy of people and locations brought success to his doorstep.

In 2004, he made appearances on the series, I’m Famous And Frightened, which proved hugely popular and garnered a lot of attention. He soon after became involved in the TV series, Most Haunted, where he was the guest medium through series three, four and five. Not stopping there, Lawman began penning regular columns for several magazines and newspapers.

Soon, Lawman decided that he wanted to spiritually armour himself to fight, ward off and understand demons and demonic entities. After spending several years training within a church, he began performing exorcisms and this is something that he exceeds at in his field.

In recent years, Lawman has been working with paranormal investigator and historian, Jayne Harris and paranormal tech expert Barri Ghai in the UK TV series, Help! My House Is Haunted. The show is currently at its fourth season, and has proven to be hugely popular amongst fans of ghost hunting reality shows, rivalling many of the others in the field.

Lawman appears to have that “extra something” when he is using his psychic ability both on and off screen. A warm and sincere medium who seems to genuinely care about those he works with, Lawman has become a firm favourite amongst TV psychic celebrities. His training and many years of performing exorcisms has given him an edge, and helps viewers to understand the reality of things which most of us can – thankfully – ignore most of our lives.

With Help! My House Is Haunted becoming such a hugely popular hit on Discovery+, it’ll be interesting to see what lies in store next for psychic Ian Lawman. For his many fans, one thing is for certain: the only way is up.
